"Marine Le Pen is more dangerous": the right would prefer a Bardella candidacy for the presidency
Even though he is targeting the right-wing electorate, the president of the National Rally scares the LR leaders less than the head of the RN group in the National Assembly.

But it has not necessarily surprised many, as the president of the RN praises the path taken by the UMP candidate in his conquest of power and tries to follow in the footsteps of the former president.
"I also want to speak to the orphans of the right, who no longer identify with the Republicans party," he said on Friday during a trip to Les Sables-d'Olonne... the land of Bruno Retaileau , head of LR. "You're putting Nicolas Sarkozy into hibernation. You wake him up by introducing Bardella as president of the young LR, there's no problem for him!" laughs a former Sarkozy supporter.
